Edge Analytical, located in Burlington Washington, is looking for a sales professional for our growing environmental testing laboratories. With five laboratories in Washington and Oregon, we are a growing laboratory that has been in business for over 40 years. With our roots firmly planted in an employee-first environment, we are seeking an experienced, motivated sales representative who can quickly absorb and retain knowledge of our services and can work independently and in a team environment. The preferred candidate will have a background in environmental sciences and customer service and data-driven initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

Serves customers by selling laboratory services and meeting customer needs.

Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential clients

Submits orders by referring to price lists and laboratory literature.

Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, and delivery schedules.

Recommends changes in services, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and

making recommendations to management.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional

publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and client sales.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Attending trade show conventions (Up to six weeks per year).
