We are seeking an Administrator to join our small construction office team. This position will work with our Accounting Supervisor for accounting and HR related tasks as well as our General Manager and Project Managers for Project related tasks.
Construction/Electrical background highly recommended and helpful if experience with Government contracting, or Private contracting work.
Must have ability to multi-task, stay organized, work alone for a portion of your day, meet deadlines and take direction as needed.
Our company is fast paced and assistance is needed in multiple areas to include:
- Estimating and Bid Prep
- Vendor and Sub-Contractor Quote Control
- Contract Review
- Submittals for Projects
- Job Set Up
- Billing

Qualifications:
-Experience with Construction, Electrical, Project Administration or Engineering in Construction strongly preferred.
-Commitment to a culture of excellence and ability to take ownership of processes and projects.
-Intuitive problem Solver
-Professional and pleasant demeanor and ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers and vendors in clean, concise, courteous manner.
-Ability to self-start, remain focused, and juggle multiple tasks with little direct supervision.
Primary Duties to include:
- Answering Phones
-Coordinate construction administration, distribute submittals, RFI's, PPI's, and compile reviewer comments.
-Ability to read drawings and RFP's, Technical Specs preferred.
-Experience with all of Microsoft Suite
- Inputting invoices and sorting to correct job/phase codes
-Monthly reporting
-Setting up new jobs in Construction Software
-Gathering specs and creating submittals
-Working with contract needs such as Certificate of Insurance, Permitting, Lien Releases
-Scheduling and forecasting for labor budgets
-Open/Close Shop daily.
-Other duties as assigned and needed
40 hours a week - Full Time Position
