Arlington Machine & Welding is currently accepting applications for a manual journeyman-level machinist. Founded in 1977, we are a family owned and operated business in Arlington, WA. We fabricate custom parts and small batch production parts, both welded and machined. Industries that our shop frequently work with are marine, food processing, agricultural, textiles, aerospace ground support, timber, construction, transportation and cannabis.
Job duties will include:
Set-up and operation of knee and boring mills, lathes, and drill press
Read prints, follow written and verbal instructions and work well with others
Work unsupervised and complete tasks in a timely manner
Work directly with the customer and determine material and process requirements
CNC programmer/operator skills a definite plus
MINIMUM 5 YEARS MACHINE SHOP EXPERIENCE A MUST!
40 Hour Week/Flexible, Vacation/PTO, Profit-Based Bonus, Medical/Dental, Wages DOE
