Farmers Equipment Company is a full-service agricultural and material handling equipment dealer with locations in both Lynden and Burlington. We currently have an opening for a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to provide support at our Burlington location.
Primary responsibilities include:
Receive all incoming parts, accessories and equipment in a timely manner
Efficiently reconcile all incoming freight to packing slips
Deliver received parts to appropriate party
Coordinate shipment of goods using most cost-effective method
Research and communicate status of deliveries and shipments as needed
Effectively respond to internal and external requests for status of shipments
Stock received parts to shelves, restocking as needed
Communicate receipt of whole goods to Sales Coordinator
Other activities to support the Parts Department and Store
Requirements:
Strong organizational skills necessary to complete tasks in a timely manner while maintaining accuracy
Minimum one year similar work experience preferred
Familiarity with domestic shipping regulations preferred
Working knowledge of POS system
Previous material handling experience
Ability to use sound judgment to efficiently prioritize work
Exceptional detail orientation and problem resolution skills
Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to effectively work with a variety of individuals
Valid DL
