A thriving, local-focused, full service restaurant seeks an energetic, personable, professional dishwasher. Must be over 18. Work involves physical effort and heavy lifting. Schedule requires evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work in an open kitchen setting, and interact with customers. Must be clean, with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. We view this position as one of the most important in the restaurant, if the plates aren't clean it doesn't matter how good the food is, so we will hire someone who appreciates this! Experience is preferred, but would train the right person. Every great chef starts in the dish pit, if you think restaurant work might be for you, this is a great way to learn about all aspects of how a restaurant functions. Part-time, may expand hours during summer.
