Customer Inventory Supervisor (Burlington, WA)

Seafood processing and cold storage company is looking for a Customer Inventory Supervisor for full-time, year-round, employment. We all work together to do things as accurately and efficiently as possible. We believe we should complete our jobs with the same goal in mind. Customer Satisfaction!

This position is responsible for many duties, some of which include:

Reception:

Greet visitors in person and by telephone and transfer to appropriate department as necessary

Assist walk in customers with Ice and Bait purchases

Shipping/Receiving:

Prepare Bill(s) of Lading to correspond with product release

File shipping/receiving billing and inventory paperwork

Prepare inspection paperwork

Assist warehouse with dispatch and customer calls and provide them with copies of forms as needed

Maintain customer database

Assist accounts receivable with communication about past due invoices

Perform yearly archiving and shredding

Assist tally department as necessary

Inventory:

Lot product received/shipped in/out of inventory and master lot books

Answer warehouse, production, and customer questions regarding inventory

Copy receiving paperwork for production orders

Process incoming paperwork from warehouse and tally departments

Update month end customer inventories

Billing:

Prepare billing for shipping and receiving, production work orders, and product sales

Bill customer storage transfers

Prepare cold storage invoices for mailing

Qualifications:

Knowledge of multi-line phone system

Previous office clerk experience

Able to handle last minute changes and orders and to work under pressure

Maintain customer confidentiality

Commitment to excellence and high standards

Strong organizational, math, problem solving, and analytical skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Excellent attention to detail required

Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work enthusiastically with constantly changing priorities

Ability to work independently and as a team member

Ability to deal effectively with a diverse group of individuals at all organizational levels

Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently

Work Environment:

The primary work space is in an office setting. Frequent and short duration walking, standing, and working on feet in the shipping and receiving area are required where the temperature may be much lower.

Salary:

Hourly pay based on education and experience

Medical benefits, vacation, and holiday pay
