Hello all,
Marian Built is looking for another lead carpenter who can manage scopes of work and associated deadlines. We are a company that thrives on healthy relationships and a positive working environment which can be fun but must be productive. Productivity is very important because we work 4 10 hour days, M-Th 7-5.
We also take Covid-19 very seriously. We have all the required PPE and safety plans in place. We are protected, socially distanced, and being as safe as possible and not working huge jobs with lots of people.
We are a small company focused on our core clients in commercial tenant improvements and residential remodels. We currently have 7 employees and intend to stay small. We are located in Ballard and most of our work is close to there.
We are looking for an individual who is career focused, with a minimum of 6 years construction experience. Please include education history, work history, and references. Formal resume not needed if you don't have one, just please send some relevant information.
This is for a lead carpenter position. Applicant must have a strong working knowledge of finish and general carpentry, be able to read plans, do take offs on plans to order material, must have own transportation that they can transport tools in, understand and perform some light finish work including clears and waxes and prep for paint.
