Property Management Company is seeking an energetic professional for a part time Apartment Manager position for two small properties in Pierce County, WA.

This person will market available apartments, process rental payments, invoice processing, resident interaction, administrate responses to maintenance needs and maintain the common areas.

Benefits include: Salary and a 1-Bedroom apt. home. This position requires the employee to live on-site (apartment is included in the hourly wage). In addition, paid time off is available and bonus incentives are available based on the property's performance.

A background check is a condition of employment.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Process rental applications and lease documents

Update marketing ads online and help with property marketing activities

Performs market research and generates market comparison reports

Walk vacant units to verify they are rent ready, notify maintenance of any problems

Prepare correspondences and notices

Collect/process rent payments and record resident Maintenance Service Requests

Keep the property grounds and rental office picked up (clean & presentable)

Clean/prepare vacant units upon return for new clientele/Move-ins

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent is required

Minimum of 1 year residential leasing experience preferred

Other requirements:

Must maintain a neat and professional appearance

Must be very punctual and have great attendance

Ability to work weekends and non-traditional holidays when needed

Must have valid Driver's License/reliable transportation and able to travel if required

Must be available to work at sister-communities if needed

Ability to use a computer and have a working knowledge of email, Word and Excel.

Professional verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Must be a team player

Ability to multi-task

Ability to analyze and solve problems

Ability to professionally deal with/handle potential confrontational situations

Ability to close a sale or rental commitment

Ability to set and meet goals

Ability to maintain confidentiality
