Forsberg & Umlauf, P.S., a premier law firm with offices in Seattle and Tacoma, is searching for two (2) experienced litigation legal secretary's (minimum of 3-5yrs) to work in our Seattle office and in Tacoma office, both with a busy team on a variety of civil litigation matters. This position supports 3-4 attorneys. The fast pace of the desk requires someone with energy, sound judgment, and experience in managing rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.
The ideal candidates will have strong litigation experience including case calendaring/docketing, document production, the ability to meet strict court deadlines and experience in court filings (State and Federal). This position is required to handle confidential matters. Familiarity with various areas of law including but not limited to professional liability defense matters, business and commercial litigation, professional negligence, personal injury, coverage and premises liability, is desired. Experience with Oregon courts is a plus.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have three to five years litigation legal secretarial experience, must be familiar with State and Federal Court rules along with excellent organizational skills, superior attention to detail, and an ability and desire to work as part of a team as well as work independently.
