Transportation / Environmental Planner
We are looking for a Transportation / Environmental Planner who is relationship-oriented, a proactive problem solver, good listener, excellent public speaker, and passionate about public transportation! This person will also have the opportunity to join a collaborative group working on high profile projects in the Pacific Northwest.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in the field of Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, or related degree
2 or more years of transit, transportation, or environmental planning experience or a Master’s degree in a similar area of concentration
Technical skills in transit, transportation, or environmental planning
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience preparing technical reports related to environmental impacts, design guidelines, etc. and translating technical information into public-friendly documents
Experience with ESRI ArcGIS
Experience communicating and working with clients
Outgoing, self-motivated team player
Commitment to producing high quality work
Ability to work with and balance priorities among multiple projects and project managers, as well as providing direction to entry-level transportation / environmental analysts
