The Xbox Programming team is searching for a highly capable Sr. Product Manager to help drive global growth for video content and programming across Team Xbox. The Program Manager for the Programming team will manage acquisition, creation and GTM execution of Xbox video content, growing its global audience and retaining fans while ensuring we deliver a world class content plan to meet or exceed business goals.

Responsibilities

Key deliverables will be to manage content creation, develop a HUB for all Xbox programming, drive the global strategy, messaging and GTM execution for all Xbox programming. Including:

1. Create and maintain a programming HUB across multiple platforms working across internal teams including engineering.

2. Make data-driven decisions and drive growth with business intelligence across social media channels such as YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Instagram and the Xbox console to track the effectiveness of our marketing.

3. Refine the positioning and strategy for specific programming efforts to best engage existing fans and reach new consumers.

4. Attend key gaming events such as E3, Gamescom, PAX, GDC, San Diego Comic-Con, and others for industry insight.

5. Ensure a robust and engaged portfolio of content for selected audiences.

6. Work alongside the community, utilizing feedback to prioritize programming and further develop the HUB.

7. Attract new-to-Xbox (NTX) audiences through programming and promotions.

8. Execute content acquisition and retention programs to reach business KPIs.

9. Own the post-mortem strategy for the team, utilizing key learning to optimize content GTM plans moving forward.

10. Conduct alignment meetings with Advertising for monetization KPI’s.

11. Conduct alignment meetings with global content teams.

12. Support Social Media and PR teams to align on Content & Messaging.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience driving high-impact business and marketing decisions focused on video content and the gaming industry.

  • 10+ years of video production experience.

  • Demonstrated track record of thought leadership and influence within an organization.

  • Ability to drive successfully work collaboratively across multiple teams

  • Passion for data-driven decision making.
  • Exceptional ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams, establish high-trust partnerships, and influence a broad set of stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated team leadership experience.

  • A cultural role model with an ability to inspire others.

  • MBA or graduate degree is a plus.
