CBIT is a Managed Services Provider (MSP) based in Richland, WA providing IT Services, Internet, Telephone/VoIP and Security. We provide remote and on-site support services through new and on-going service contracts, often implementing system upgrades and total system installations. Our customers include dental offices, manufacturing facilities, accounting firms, legal firms and general businesses.
Position Available:
Network Administrator - Managed Services
Description:
We are seeking a Managed Services Administrator who is a highly skilled technical resources that thrives on supporting diverse networks while providing excellent customer service. The Managed Services Administrator is responsible for providing proactive and reactive services to new and existing Managed Services customers in support of their IT infrastructure.
Duties
Receive information, diagnose symptoms, and resolve problems through alerts generated in our Managed Services system
Review and distribute monthly Network Health reports to our Managed Services Customers
Deliver customer service within specified service levels and typically around more complex problems including diagnosis and resolution of items such as router configurations, equipment failures, patching or updating server operating systems, restarting services, troubleshooting backups, and more
Contribute to team goals with regards to SLA requirements, case resolution, and customer satisfaction
Participate in emergency on-call rotation schedule
Accurately enter and maintain case information including notes and resolution
Internal IT Support
Identify sales opportunities and pass the information to correct team members
Submit timesheets accurately and timely
Other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of available tools to assist in daily tasks
Ability to troubleshoot server-based software issues with:
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 / 2008 / 2012 R2 / 2016
Microsoft Windows Active Directory
On-Premise Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007/2010, Microsoft Office 365, and hosted Microsoft Office 365
Microsoft SQL 2005/2008/2012 Server
Microsoft Hyper-V
Microsoft PowerShell
Major Anti-Virus solutions
Enterprise-class backup solutions
Very knowledgeable of various server/workstation peripherals such as USB/NAS drives
In-depth knowledge of workstation/server hardware and software troubleshooting abilities
Working knowledge of HP and Dell equipment; general understanding of storage solutions
Extremely knowledgeable in troubleshooting and resolving workstation-based software issues with:
Microsoft Windows 7 / 8 / 10
Microsoft Office 2007 / 2010 / 2013 / 2016
Microsoft Online Services (Office 365)
Domain and workgroup environments
Knowledge and understanding of AD, DNS, the Internet and mail flow
Soft Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education and Experience
MCP/MCSA/MCSE/MCTS/MCITP Certifications preferred
CompTIA A+ and Network+ preferred
2+ years of relevant experience in supporting complex networks and/or providing technical support - required
Experience in Managed Services environments a plus
Experience in cloud backup solutions a plus
Additional Requirements
Ability to schedule for evening or weekend work occasionally
Valid driver’s license in your state of residence and reliable personal vehicle
