We are excited to offer the opportunity to join our small and dynamic team, to grow with us as one of Washington’s premium, top direct to consumer wineries. Team Fidelitas is a roll-up-your sleeves, do-it-all group. We are passionate about Red Mountain wines and try to not take ourselves too seriously.
As we gear up for the spring, we are hiring regularly scheduled and occasional part-time staff at both our Red Mountain and Woodinville locations.
Primary responsibilities:
- Create a memorable experience for each and every visitor by sharing the Fidélitas story and providing relentless customer service. Team Fidelitas staff members are knowledgeable about our wines, winemaking practices, Red Mountain, and the Washington wine industry.
- Properly promote, pour, and sell one of Washington’s leading DTC brands. Employ sales techniques to encourage wine purchases to meet monthly sales and Club signup goals.
- Participate in daily tasting room operations including accurately processing transactions via the POS, as well as cleaning and daily maintenance.
- Take part in ongoing education, including Fidelitas team-trainings and staff meetings, and self-development in the areas of our wines, growing region, and hospitality.
- Be available for tasting room and offsite events with Fidelitas. This job is primarily on weekends, with occasional evenings.
Experience and Expectations:
- 3+ years experience in wine and/or hospitality. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and should have or be able to develop a working knowledge of Red Mountain and the Washington wine industry.
- Proficiency in POS and CRM systems and ability to navigate an iPad. Experience with WineDirect is a bonus.
- Proven history of positive interactions with customers and fellow staff members.
- Professional presentation, including strong written and verbal communication skills.
Tasting Room Educators must be over the age of 21, be able to repeatedly lift and carry 45lbs, and be able stand for long periods of time. All new staff must provide a Washington state MAST permit and King County/Benton County Food Handler’s permit prior to the first day of employment.
Compensation includes competitive hourly wages, allocations of all new releases, quarterly bonuses, and employee discounts on Fidelitas products.
