Fisher Construction Group is filling a safety management position at a construction jobsite in Othello, WA. The position joins two existing safety managers already working on the jobsite. The successful candidate must have a strong background in safety management in the construction industry, as well as a demonstrated competence in using the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint. The candidate must have excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to write and speak articulately and use proper grammar. Brief Job Description:
The safety manager performs safety audits and inspections of the jobsite on a routine and special basis. He or she submits field reports, makes recommendations for improvement, and is authorized to stop work to correct situations of immediate danger.
The safety manager acts as in-house resource on multi-state safety laws, rules and requirements. He/she provides support to project managers and superintendents to comply with the rules and regulations related to safety.
