DescriptionAccountemps has an outstanding opportunity for a short-term temporary-to-full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team at a premier company in Camas, WA! Serving as the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed
Help with internal and external audits as required
Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners
Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
Carry out additional tasks as assigned
Complete full-cycle A/P
Requirements
Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Excellent attention to detail
Command of account reconciliation
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
Deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred
Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience
