Intertek’sIndustry Services team provides technical solutions that help customersmaximize operational efficiency, ensure asset reliability, improve quality, andminimize safety risks.

Some of our manyservice areas include inspection, non-destructive and materials testing,technical training, engineering, surveying, QA / QC, and supplier auditing.

TheNDE Level I Technician will support the Industry Services business by workingwith an RT Level II Technician in the Pacific Northwest.

Duties :

Performvarious non-destructive examinations at various client facilities under thedirection of a Project Manager, Team Leader, or Level II Technician.

Assistin preparing NDE reports and document data in a clear and timely manner.

Assistand learn technical matters involving company NDE procedures and techniques.

Providea professional appearance when interfacing with clients and other coworkers.

Stayabreast of any new developments in NDE that may beapplicable in our business.

Required :

ValidDriver's License.

Current 40 Hr Radiation Safety Certificate

Valid TWIC Card

Ableto pass physical exam.

Amindset of safety first.

Abilityto maintain open lines of communications with co-workers, clients, andsubcontractors.

Preferred :

ASNTLevel I certification in RT (profile); UT-Thickness; MT and / or PT.

Theability to set up and calibrate equipment, and interpret and evaluate resultsto applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

Familiaritywith Microsoft Office applications.

Theability to organize and report test results, and send information to the officefor data processing.

Theability to solve technical issues in the field.
