Bellingham Nissan has an immediate opening for a Master Technician in our growing service department.
Automotive technicians will quickly and efficiently perform routine maintenance, identify the cause of various breakdowns, and repair the diagnosed vehicles using optimal solutions and techniques. Although some jobs are extensive and or challenging, training is available to those who wish to further their education and career.
The Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performing work that is specified on repair and maintenance orders efficiency and in accordance with our dealership's standards.
Diagnosing and repairing vehicle automotive systems to specification including the engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
Provide labor and time estimates on additional repairs.
Be able to explain the mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a way that non-technical service advisers and customer can understand.
Inspect and test vehicles and record any findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
Be willing to continue to learn new techniques through training in order to stay current with the rapid changing technology.
Job Requirements:
Experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
Hold and maintain a valid driver's license.
Clean driving record
Working knowledge of shop equipment such as: wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic tools, etc.
Provide own tools
The ideal candidate is:

Flexible and willing to work on whatever comes through the doors.
Focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
Willing to learn and take training seriously.
Ability to lift over 50lbs.
Work, standing, with hands above your head for extended periods of time
