One of my favorite aspects of working in the IT department at SPIE is being a part of the team of dedicated and talented employees. There is a strong emphasis on open communication, discovering the best solutions and helping others. The work is challenging and has enabled me to continue to expand my skillset as a software engineer.
Who were looking for: Amazing, smart, talented people to join our dynamic team of technologists. The SPIE Software Development team is primarily focused on the Microsoft technology stack experience, but were researching and expanding into new areas as we go.
Our experience wish list: A BS in Computer Science and 1 year of development experience (can include internships and school projects), including knowledge of ASP.NET, MVC, C#, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, XML/XSL, Vue.js, Javascript, JQuery, JSON, AJAX, SQL, MS Visual Studio, best practices for software development, written and verbal communication skills. Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience a plus.
