Our small home based eBay company is looking for a part time product/auction lister. The job details include but are not limited to; taking pictures of product, downloading them to the computer, writing descriptions, filling out all relevant information, and submitting the listing. Then the product needs to be tagged and boxed.
Note: Items will be delivered to the desk priced, described, and with most information needed.
There will also be times that the product will need to be wiped down and/or cleaned. I will try to always have that done before the qualified individual gets it to their desk, but not always. Sometimes the items can weigh up to 50 pounds. That is an expectation - you must be able to pick up to 50 pounds on a daily basis. Not very often, but plan on it. We expect the lister to list approx. 12 listings in those 4 hours.
We have security cameras throughout the interior of our home and exterior of our home. We have this primarily for our family protection. It is internet filed and can't be deleted from a DVR. This is also for the protection of the employee. You must be willing to be in this atmosphere. We believe in keeping a safe, comfortable environment for everyone.
We will be doing a background check on qualified candidates before making a final decision. If you have a criminal history, you need not apply. There is NO drama tolerated in our home. This is a quiet, relaxing work environment and we will keep it that way. If you are sick a lot, you won't work out. We need to have a VERY reliable person who wants and will work everyday scheduled.
We do expect high quality on our eBay listings. eBay is very hard to sell on these days and with a high return rate and the feedback expectations, it makes it very rough for anyone that want's to sell and make a profit. It is not easy. It's our job to work with eBay, we are just looking for one great lister who knows what they are doing and can work great with our family.
Hours and rate:
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. (NO WEEKENDS)
Hours of Day: 10:00am to 2:00pm (4 Hours a day) 16 Hours a week
Hourly Rate: $15.00 Hour to start (HIGHER DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)
Paid Vacation: After 1 complete year (1 week), 1 week added after each following year - up to 4 weeks max. Vacation hours will be paid as average hours worked per week for the previous year.
The qualified, hired individual must arrive on time and leave at 2:30. We have schedules to keep and these hours are perfect. We live off of Northwest Avenue next to I-5.
There will be a 30 day probation period. During this time we will be paying good attention to your listings and see if you are a good match for our company - and of course, you need to feel comfortable working with us.
