122 West Brewing is looking for an experienced line cook who is passionate and professional with leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service exactly as directed
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Answer, report and follow executive chef’s instructions
Ability to follow and give direction where needed
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Qualifications:
At least 2 years experience cooking in a professional environment
Comprehension of a variety of cooking techniques
Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more a day
Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Excellent verbal communication and organization skills
Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis
