ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for an Oracle Enterprise Manager Engineer requiring a Secret Clearance located in Vienna, VA . ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense.ActioNet’s OEM team provides expertise in the development and delivery of OEM agents in an Oracle 13c environment at Department of State Consular Affairs Data Engineering and Data Management. Our team is looking for a strong Oracle Enterprise Manager Engineer with a minimum of 9 years of experience with managing and supporting Oracle databases in Exadata/Unix environments and a total of 12+ years in IT. The candidate should be a self-starter, have excellent communication skills and work seamlessly in a team environment as well as independently. The OEM Engineer will be part of an enterprise team supporting a large Federal account encompassing data engineering, data management, application support, data sharing, data operations, and data infrastructure support services for over 650 servers, over 825 Oracle databases, and over 90 SQL Server databases.This position requires the candidate to have an existing security clearance (Secret or higher).What is in it for you?

Duties and Responsibilities
Hands-on participation and facilitation of full life cycle implementation of Oracle 13c Fusion Middleware and 13c Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for production environments.
Configure OEM agents to provide detailed middle-tier information to assist DBAs in monitoring the middle-tier stack
Implement database configuration standards related to performance and sizing for both transactional and data warehouse databases
Maintain and ensure availability for multiple production environments
Hands-on participation and facilitation of full life cycle implementation of Oracle 13c Fusion Middleware and 13c Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for production environments
Implement and manage Oracle Fusion Middle-tier platform, BI publisher, and BI reports as defined by the SME
Design, implement, and maintain high-quality database code adhering to established standards
Assist in defining and correcting issues with the Oracle stack as defined by the SME
Provide leadership for OEM 13c full stack implementation and work guidance to less experienced personnel
Gather requirements for developing and maintaining multiple databases to support customer's need for data and reports
Work closely with team leads and their technical teams to ensure delivery of database services within performance targets
Provide solid DBA skills on Oracle RAC, OBIEE, and Data Guard installation, configuration, and the troubleshooting of production issues
Applies advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and development of solutions for the OEM system identifying requirements and resolving problems
Basic Qualifications:
Requires active secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field
9+ years of experience with managing and supporting Oracle databases in Exadata/Unix environments
12+ years of experience working in the IT industry
Strong knowledge of SQL and strong understanding of PL/SQL, stored procedures, packages, triggers, and complex queries
Specific knowledge of writing custom monitoring reports for 13c OEM
Strong database troubleshooting skills in mission-critical environment
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of database internals and data structures
Quick learner with a strong customer support focus
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate systems proposals to management and customers as well as provide systems diagnoses and resolution for current systems
Should be detail oriented, motivated, organized to prioritize work, balance, and lead complex projects
Good knowledge of various generic business practices and process flow
Preferred Qualifications:
Active top secret clearance
Previous experiences on Oracle Engineered System such as Exadata and Golden Gate
Experience working with Oracle Cloud Computing (private or public)
Experience with leading a team of DBAs
