Our business helps support their way of life and contributes tothe survival of a culture that has thrived in a challenging environment.Job Summary:SAVA is looking to hire an experienced Cloud Administrator to support daily operations of a large, complex IT Support Services contract for one of our valuable customers, an important Federal Law Enforcement Agency in Sterling, VA. You will play a major role in the implementation, deployment, maintenance of enterprise systems and applications hosted in the government’s on premises cloud. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong experience in cloud computing (private and public clouds) and is ready to excel in a challenging environment where priorities from multiple stakeholders accumulate.Responsibilities:

Apply operational best practices that ensure enterprise level information systems are available, reliable and secure.

Energetic professional who is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, strong initiative, and a robust technical understanding of cloud environment.

Directly assist the contract’s Technical Lead and Tier III administrators with daily operations, cloud administration, system management and migration planning.

Quickly and efficiently troubleshoot, identify, and resolve technical issues related to cloud hosted services.

Collaborate with Cloud Architects, Engineers, and enterprise O&M teams to implement, deploy, and maintain platforms supporting essential mission services in the cloud environment.

Plan and execute projects migrating a myriad of enterprise services to on premises cloud infrastructure.

Evaluate readiness and daily operations through infrastructure provisioning tools, and provide feedback to cloud engineers.

Monitor and evaluate underlying Cloud Infrastructure performance, including analyzing cloud resource deployment summary data, monitoring key resource metrics, load balancing, and resolving operational problems.

Coordinate upgrades, changes, and fix actions for operational services hosted in the cloud, and develop mature alerting mechanisms to ensure visibility of systems' behavior.

Provide daily operational support of a global, complex, IT enterprise and contribute to key program deliverables.

Analyze system faults, review diagnostic tests, and troubleshoot underlying infrastructure to identify problems and future risks.

Work closely with the Enterprise Information Assurance team to implement best practices based on Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

Serve as the primary liaison between SAVA’s System and Network Administrators, and the engineers for the on premises cloud.

Participate in rotating 24x7 on-call support.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field.

Must have a DoD Secret Clearance.

8 years of operational IT experience focused on supporting large-scale Windows based enterprise environments, including development, deployment and operations of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

3 years of experience working directly with cloud technologies - related roles include cloud analyst, cloud system engineer

Demonstrated experience in virtual infrastructure technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.

Foundational understanding of network technologies (LAN vs WAN troubleshooting, VLAN identification & Cisco ACI)

Understanding of basic Linux and/or UNIX Operating System operations and maintenance.

Demonstrated experience in Windows Server 2012/2016 administration.

Must be able to work collaboratively, and cooperatively, as a member of a team, but also work independently and apply sound judgment and effective work prioritization without direct supervision.

Capable of reviewing existing processes and identifying possible process improvements.

Desired Skills:

VCP, C/ASEP, NCP, MCSA/E, or CCNA/P/IE Datacenter

Prior experience with SAN/NAS devices including NetApp

Experience with Cisco and HP blade systems.

Prior experience withSolarWinds and/or ScienceLogic SL1.

Certifications: ComptTIA Cloud , Professional Cloud Administrator (hosted by the Cloud Credential Council) and proprietary certifications, including Azure or AWS

DEA suitibility is highly desired.
