AmeriStaff Employment & Staffing Solutions is currently hiring for an IT Support Technician. Potential candidates will answer calls, emails, and service tickets providing Level 1 and Level II troubleshooting support. Must have basic hardware, software, and network troubleshooting skills. Be able to identify customer needs and provide the steps and/or direction necessary to resolve said problem(s) in a changing information technology environment. Must follow company and/or customer procedures as needed or where provided and maintain best security or business practices.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide knowledgeable IT Hardware, Software, and Networking Support.
Meet KPI requirements:
Time to Answer within Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Abandon Rate within SLA
Call Handling Time within SLA
First Call Resolution within SLA
Professionalism / Knowledge
Adherence to Procedure
Answer and complete a minimum of 30 calls per shift
Follow up on open calls/service tickets daily
Provide excellent customer service
Accurately code and update call information in ticket system(s)
Complete administrative tasks as needed within timeline given
Work constructively within a team environment.
Skills Required:
Great customer service skills
Attention to detail
Experience required in Computer repair
Confident and effective communication to customers and coworkers
Basic networking knowledge
Basic Windows Operating System knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
Capable of performing Data Entry
Must be able to multitask and manage time wisely
Must be able to lift 50 lbs several times per day
Education: Associate's degree in related field or two (2) or more years of relative experience
Hours: Multiple shifts, OT when necessary
Salary: Depends On Experience
