We are looking for Wait Staff for The Waterfront Country Club located @ Smith Mountain Lake in Moneta, VA. Must be Dependable, Motivated, and Passionate about Customer Service.

Nights, weekends and holidays required. Pre-employment drug test required. EOE.
Essential Functions:
Check daily reservations and function sheets at each shift.
Check assigned dining area to ensure area is correctly set up for service.
Set dining area for service and special functions.
Be knowledgeable of daily specials and be able to pronounce all menu items.
Take food orders at tables and answer any questions members or guest may have.
Write food orders down with correct procedure and enter in POS system.
Pick up main entrée from kitchen and serve food to table.
Check frequently with table to ensure excellence in food and service, re-waters, coffee.
Relay cocktail order to bar and deliver.
Present check to member/guest when finished dining, make sure they sign, and properly close member charges.
Employees holding this position will also be required to perform any other job related duties as requested by management.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Must be able to carry tray; weighing on average approximately 20 pounds.
Regularly required to stand.
Set up banquets which requires moving chairs and tables.
Job Requirement(s):
Requires closed toe, slip resistant footwear.
Friendly personality and able to be courteous with members/guests.
Knowledge of ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control) laws.
Must be able to respond calmly to angry members or guests and notify supervisor of situation.
Efficiently use POS system for entering food & beverage orders.
The clubhouse features a pro shop, state-of-art fitness center, men's locker room, several restaurant areas, banquet facilities, and completed a state of the art bar room lounge that is located on the back terrace overlooking hole 18.
