Construction Materials Purchase and Delivery
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Purchase materials for all projects and deliver on time to Project Managers.
Receives, unpacks, stores, distributes and records inventory for materials and products used by the company.
Inspects shipments and rejects or sends back any damaged items.
Provide efficient and effective scheduling and planning of all deliveries.
Maintains Project ID log for filling supply request from all Project Managers.
Maintain current materials inventory.
Perform physical inventory on a monthly basis and end of year.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma required.
A valid Virginia Drivers License is required.
5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a purchasing role is preferred.
Familiarity with purchasing and spreadsheet applications is required.
Able to prioritize and organize, meet deadlines.
Lifting of up to 50 lbs. and occasionally higher may be required.
