Busy locally owned and operated Gas station and c store in Richmond VA is hiring
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS,
- Minimum age of 21(due to alcohol and tobacco sales federal and state laws)
- Ability to communicate (orally and in writing in English)
- Capable of being at work as schedule to relieve prior shift employees
- Experience in retail sales preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Also having own transportation a must due to an unexpected changes in the shift schedule.
- work weekends and holidays based on business needs.
- Ask customers if they are interested in purchasing additional items(suggestive plus selling)
- Be professional, friendly, and helpful to customers, vendor and co workers
- follow companys policy as well as state and federal laws.
- work alone and work with others
- work with minimum directions and follow instructions given by Superviser
- Bend at waist with some twisting during the workdays
- Stocking cooler & Freezer
- Moping floor
- Assisting with deliveries
- Perform additional duties as required or requested.
- Clean interior/exterior area(Trash disposal, bathroom, spills etc.)
- Properly ring up all sales on a cash register, accurately count back change, handle money and other types of payment received for products sold
- Efficiently perform multi function operation of all store equipments.
- Maintain property and equipments to ensure customer have safe shopping experience.
- All candidate will be screened for background check so only apply if you have a clean past history.
