Medical Practice Manager/Administrative Assistant
A busy Orthopedic Hand Surgery Practice in the West End of Richmond is seeking a Practice Manager/Administrative Assistant. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual with experience in medical billing and collections, running a small office, and providing scheduling and administrative services for two physicians. Candidate must be committed to helping all staff provide the highest quality of patient care, and encouraging all staff to work together as a team. We need someone with:
Great organizational and management skills
Ability to be a logical thinker and problem solver
Experience as a team player
Great customer service skills
Ability to relate to all types of patients from all walks of life, to insurance adjusters and other administrative personnel, and to the general public.
Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable
Demonstrated ability, experience and skills in medical billing and collections
Experience with Allscripts billing system is desirable
