The Deputy Program Manager – Performance oversees aspects of Program performance including but not limited to program schedule, quality, logistics, training, analysis and metrics, subcontractor, and financial performance; acts as the business/performance point of contact for the client; ensures personnel and resources meet task requirements; may develop new business opportunities; work closely with project controller to monitors costs and budgets; team with operations to develop procedures to increase performance and improve cost effectiveness of program; may manage multiple task orders simultaneously.Assesses workloads, identifies personnel resource needs through forecasting, and makes recommendations to implement resource leveling and hiring decisions. Aligns staff and expertise with projects and organizational needs. Participates in the recruitment and hiring of new personnel to support operations and functional leads. provides performance and technical advice and quality assurance services to the team implementing the contract.Strong leadership and management skills are essential. Establishes strong relationships with clients, and other stakeholders. Serves in other senior roles as required by the program. Illustrative working experience of 5 to 15 years will include: a minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing performance monitoring, performance management plans, designing and implementing data collection tools, conducting data analysis, training facilitation, and writing evaluation, assessment, and/or reports. Demonstrated experience training others in monitoring, evaluation, collaborating, learning and adapting. Demonstrated experience managing personnel, providing mentorship, and conducting resource planning.Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Must have current PMP and ITIL certifications; possess excellent interpersonal, personnel management, and communications skills, and a working knowledge of ITIL.bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, computer science, or a similar field.Required Clearance: TSSCI.
