Local contractor seeking skilled tradesman. The Kennedy Company of Va. Inc. specializes in maintenance and utility installation in the Hampton Roads Tunnels:
Projects include such disciplines as:
Jet Fan Installation and Maintenance
Fire Main installation and Maintenance
Storm-water Pump Station installation and maintenance
Basic Qualifications::
Valid Driver's license, Good Driving Record
Able to lift 50 lbs
Pass a VDOT background security check
Pass pre-employment and random drug testing
Desired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Class A CDL
Previous construction experience - (Utility work - water, sewer), (Concrete flat & form work), Structural steel erection, Millwright & various rigging, Equipment operating (Forklift, Arial Lifts, Track Loader etc.), General Tool knowledge.
Ability to work independently and efficiently with good attitude.
Safety training: OSHA 10, OSHA 30, Confined Space, Boom / Scissor lift, Traffic Control, Fall Protection.

Salary: $15.00 to $24.00 /hour
