We are looking for people who want to accomplish any of the following:
Get a part time job that can potentially turn into a full time position
Go to college and not have to get Student loans
Get back into uniform and continue serving your country (Prior Service)
Finish their military career (either part time retirement or full time retirement)
Pay off their student loans with part time work
Use their degree to become an Officer part time
Earn while you learn
Get paid to learn! Join the Guard and you will learn valuable job skills while earning a regular paycheck and qualifying for tuition assistance. The Army National Guard even offers certified apprenticeship programs for some specialties in this occupation.
After 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you will learn fundamental Soldiering skills, you will attend Advanced Individual Training (AIT), which includes a combination of hands-on and classroom training.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications. Actual MOS assignment may depend on MOS availability.
We also have full time AGR positions for Soldiers that are interested in getting back on Active status for pay and retirement. Even if you were released from Active Duty due to RCP or Non-retention on active duty, we can still bring you into the National Guard and allow you the opportunity to apply for full time Technician, ADOS, and AGR positions throughout the state of Virginia.

High School Diploma or GED
