Carmines, Robbins & Company, a mid-size CPA and consulting firm located in Newport News, VA, is seeking an experienced Estate and Trust Tax Preparer to join our team.
Job Description:
We are seeking a FT or PT motivated team player with 3 or more years experience preparing tax returns for individuals, business entities and estate/trust tax returns.
Experience with the Thomson Reuters and Ultratax suite of software is a plus.
Qualifications, Skills and Background Desired:
3 or more years of in-depth tax preparation experience with personal and small business returns, demonstrating a progression in complexity of tax and accounting tasks and tax knowledge
Prefer Bachelor's or Master’s degree in accounting
Prefer Current CPA license, CPA Candidate, or Enrolled Agent (EA) and must be in good standing with the VBoA if a CPA
Excellent computer skills
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent inter-personal skills
