The Greater Lynchburg Habitat for Humanity ReStore currently has a full-time, benefited position available for donation ambassador / assistant manager trainee, working approximately 35 to 40 hours per week. Work schedule will require availability Monday through Saturday, from 9 AM until 6 PM. Starting wage is $12.50 per hour. Position includes, but is not limited to, donation pickups and processing, cash handling and assisting customers with product related questions. Successful candidate must have a current Virginia drivers license with acceptable driving record and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis. Activities also include periods of standing, walking, climbing and moving heavy objects down stairways. Successful candidate will train under the store manager to assume assistant manager duties. Assistant manager duties will include, but not be limited to: daily and monthly paperwork and reports, store opening and closing, scheduling and employee management. Background check and drug test required prior to employment. Previous truck driving, forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment experience preferred but not required as well as some management experience. Please email current resume.
