Porter's Group Lynchburg is seeking Quality Auditors for our 2nd shift operations. This individual must have 2-4 years of experience in an industrial setting. Pay rate will be based on experience.
About the Opportunity
Quality auditors perform roving and/or shipping area audits of the manufacturing processes as directed by the quality engineer. QA's also conduct first articles, capability studies, out-of-box audits, internal quality audits, calibration system maintenance and other functions as directed by the Quality Engineer. QA's aid in the disposing and analysis phases of the material review board.

Disposing and analysis phases of the material review board
Quality problem resolution with floor associates
Assist in Poke-Yoke processes where needed.
Quality record keeping
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Fabricate parts and/or provide assistance to the production operation as needed due to fluctuating work load.
All other duties as assigned for the successful operation of the facility.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated attention to detail with a good quality record.
Must have a good work record in achieving desired results.
Must have strong calibration and forming skills.
Must have strong organizational skills.
Must possess the ability to interface well with management and associates and to work in a team environment.
Must be knowledgeable with Excel & Microsoft Outlook.
Must be able to communicate effectively, giving clear verbal expectations and directions.
Must have an excellent work ethic and be self-motivated, utilizing time wisely.
Must be able to work flexible & extended hours if needed.
Previous quality systems experience helpful.
High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years experience
