2nd shift Welders (FOREST)

Seeking out Rock-star MIG welders! 2nd Shift $14.00/hourThis is a 2nd Shift Position. 3:30pm-2:00am. Overtime and Every Other Weekend is required. Pay Rate: $14.00/hour. Paid Weekly. Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage Options are available.General Description:Performs automatic gas welding (M.I.G.) on a variety of standard fabricated parts where deviations may require selection of variations in technique.Essential Functions: Receives written and verbal instruction from supervisor or lead man.Procure parts and material and inventory as required.Notify lead man as to the number of pieces fabricated/welded.Position parts and material in jigs and fixtures as required.Welds pre-assembled units per standardized methods with no fitting required.Performs all position welding on a diversified line of standard assemblies where minor fitting may be required.Usually down position welding with occasional other position welding.Chips and cleans weld and grinds parts and material as required.Qualifications:The Experienced MIG Welder will need to meet the following criteria:High school diploma or EquivalentOne (1) to five (5) years of direct/relevant experience based on scope of the position -certification is recommended, actual work experience is required.Ability to read blueprints and schematicsAbility to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inchWilling and able to work overtime as requiredPossess problem solving capabilities - Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, stressful environmentPre-employment drug screen is required for consideration of employmentApplicant may be subject to a background check- A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
