We are looking to fill a critical role with a motivated and experiencedContracts Administration Manager (Lead)to be based in one of our following office locations: Herndon, VA,Annapolis Junction, MDorColorado Springs, CO. In this role, the Contract Manager will supervise a team of contract representatives with varying career levels. This person will also function as an individual contributor by managing their own contract portfolio within the intelligence, space and cyber business units. This position has a high-level of accountability and responsibility that requires an individual who has in-depth knowledge and a strong understanding of:

Full contract life cycles

FAR, DFAR and other agency requirements

Organizational conflict of interest (OCI) and developing mitigation plans

Cross-leading teams

The ideal candidate will need to exercise a high degree of initiative and judgment, have a history of strict adherence to company policies, and demonstrate a strong business acumen.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities

Provide full life-cycle contract management, including developing, negotiating, administering, and closing out Government contracts and task orders within the intelligence, space and cyber business units.

Ensure compliance with contract policies, procedures, and standard operating practices to provide successful proposal and contract execution.

Identify and work with business unit and contract leadership to advise and resolve complex contractual challenges, including ability to meet schedules, cost and technical requirement concerns, and requirement changes.

Leverage your experience to make independent assessments on the level of escalation required as it relates to the contractual problem.

Prepare, maintain, retrieve, and communicate records, reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate and Contract Management requirements.

Lead internal Request for Proposal (RFP) and review meetings, contract pre-award meetings, final negotiations, and draft/finalization of contract.

Develop strong customer relationships, interact frequently, and work as a team leader to resolve issues and streamline processes.

Assist with preparing proposals and narratives.

Analyze, prepare, and negotiate contractual agreements as the business opportunity presents.

Support Program Managers by providing guidance on contractual requirements and mitigating the company’s risk.

Advise and support internal line of business with highly complex problems by providing creative solutions.

Accomplish Department and Division objectives by promoting sound business principles.

Supervisory responsibilities include: mentoring team of contracts professionals, monitoring and reporting direct reports’ contract performances, and ensuring staff complies with company policy and procedures.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications

Bachelors’ Degree in Business or related field plus a minimum of 10 years of related work experience

8+ years of experience interfacing with all levels of the project team and management

2+ years experience managing a team with at least two direct reports

Effective negotiation skills

Ability to work with a multi-functional team

Strong planning and organizational skills

Familiarity with U.S. government Intel Community agencies is required.

Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills necessary for working in a team environment.

Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of financial business principals and its application to Government contracts

CFCM or other professional certification

Experience working with Government auditors

Providing formal training on contract-related topics

Good technical skills and ability to develop procedures

Deltek Costpoint experience is a plus

Active Secret clearance or higher
