B3 Group Inc is looking to hire a talented Intersystems Healthshare Integration Engineer/Sr. Analyst that will support an initiative within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). To support the migration of patient data from the VA legacy Electronic Health Record (EHR), VistA, to the new Cerner-based EHR and to facilitate Health Information Exchange (HIE) within VA and with external partners, the VA has established the Veterans Data Integration and Federation Enterprise Platform (VDIF) which serves as middleware for federating VA patient data. As a major subcontractor on the VDIF program, B3 Group has multiple openings for talented Intersystems HealthShare Integration Engineers capable of supporting critical integrations between VA and non-VA systems from design through deployment using HealthShare Health Connect. Previous experience with VistA strongly preferred.Telecommute will be considered.A B3 Sr. Analyst will apply expert systems analysis and design techniques to complex enterprise systems. They will have broad knowledge of data sources/flow, interactions of complex systems, and capabilities/limitations of systems software and computer equipment. The B3 Sr. Analyst will be able to establish frameworks for new computer systems from feasibility studies to post implementation evaluation, recognize probable conflicts and integrate diverse data sources. They will provide innovative solutions for a variety of complex problems, and prepare overall project recommendations. They will demonstrate pro-activeness, an eagerness to learn, willingness to take on any tasking with good attitude, punctuality, beginning to build client relationships, work collaboratively. In order to be successful in this position, we expect you to have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities;
Bachelors Degree in computer science, math, engineering or equivalent. 8 years additional experience may be substituted for degree.
Position requires at least 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
Experience working with EHR systems.
Must be able to obtain and maintain government clearance.
Must have expertise of InterSystems suite of products, in particular, Cache, Ensemble, and HealthShare.
Prefer specific technical integration experience in deploying InterSystems HealthShare.
Ability to coordinate with development and user teams to assess risks, goals and needs and ensure that all are adequately addressed.
Experienced in introducing new hardware or software into a new or existing environment while minimizing disruption and mitigating risks.
Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs is highly desired. Previous VistA experience strongly preferred.
