English Construction Company, Inc. is looking to hire skilled laborers for a project in the Martinsville area.
A skilled laborer will perform any combination of duties on the construction project by transferring from one task to another where work demands require employees with varied experience and ability to work without close supervision. Employee must perform a variety of tasks involving dexterous use of hands and tools, such as demolishing buildings, sawing lumber, dismantling forms, removing projections from concrete, mounting pipe hangers, cutting and attaching insulating material. Employee may occasionally exert 50-100 pounds of force and 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Employee is required to lift, carry, push and pull in standing, walking and sitting positions.Work is usually performed with other workers. May perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and must have the ability to adjust to a flexible work schedule as working overtime may be required.
