The individual will provide advisory and technical support to the AB-E Systems Engineer. Duties include implementation of established system engineering processes across a program acquisition life cycle, creation of technical documentation, and support to the MDA/AB Program Office in programmatic and technical engineering management. Role and Responsibilities
Apply systems engineering principles, practices, and methods to resolve technical issues
Define and resolve complex problems that span organizational boundaries
Communicate orally and in writing in a clear/concise manner
Coordinate Systems Engineering Statements of Work
Track Systems Engineering FY budgets and cost estimates; perform trend analysis
Coordinate Systems Engineering inputs for the PBR process
Provide inputs to MDA senior-level presentations
Review and provide inputs to Systems Engineering documents
Document Systems Engineering processes
Qualifications and Education Requirements
BS or higher in an engineering field or other technical degree
7+ years of overall systems engineering experience
Experience supporting DoD/Navy programs and/or working in a dynamic DoD program office environment desired
Experience with BMD and/or Aegis highly desired
Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
Active SECRET or higher clearance required
Strong communication skills required
Knowledge of any of the following highly desired: Systems Engineering and execution processes, Systems Assessment, Modeling and Simulation, Systems Architecture, System Requirements, Digital Engineering, MBSE, Threat Engineering
