Come and join a dynamic team of professionals working with a great community of over 400 senior residents at Westminster-Canterbury of the Blue Ridge (WCBR). We currently have an opening for a part-time Utility Worker. The ideal candidate will display a caring and courteous attitude and represent WCBR in a positive manner. Must have the desire to work with a senior adult community and have the ability to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends.
Responsibilities
Dishwashing: Properly pre-rinse, pre-soak, rinse, wash and sanitize each type of plate, silverware, pot, pan, utensil, and glassware.
Make certain that all chemicals and supplies are properly used and stored.
Clean work area after every meal preparation.
Assist in maintaining proper food handling and storage procedures in accordance with guidelines.
Assist with trash removal and disposal.
Qualifications
Experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry preferred.
Overall knowledge and skills required to complete standardized tasks and learned routines associated with clearly defined procedures.

Requirements
CPR Certification preferred (Can be obtained through WCBR)
High school diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience
