Local, fresh ingredients is what we use to produce food for our 11 restaurant and dining venues. We create meals for our fine dining restaurant, upscale bar, casual grab-n-go cafe, open center stage kitchen and for our health care floors. We also host holiday and special/VIP events. We are currently looking for someone to become part of our team that shows pride in what he/she does. The ideal candidate will show interest in growing their talents and maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail. We encourage upward mobility. All are welcome to compete in our quarterly “Knife Fight” culinary competitions.

The Cook is responsible for preparing a wide variety of menu items following established recipes and procedures to ensure that all food products meet departmental standards and resident expectations.

The minimum starting pay for this position is $15.00 per hour!

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the executive chef and culinary team to prepare meals for all outlets

Able to read, measure and produce recipes from production sheets

Responsible for properly cleaning, labeling, maintaining temperature logs and all documentation for assigned area

Cleans and sanitizes all food preparation equipment and ensures that it is kept in a safe and operable condition

Qualifications:

Experience in a commercial kitchen or a professional culinary program

Knowledge of methods, materials, and practices of food preparation

Ability to use standard food preparation utensils

Available to work evening, weekends and holidays

Able to uphold Magnetic Values (Multicultural-Accountable-Game Changer- Nurturing- Empowering-Teachable)

Requirements:

ServSafe Certification – preferred (can acquire on site)

High School diploma, GED or equivalent
