Role
The candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical/structural products and systems for equipment used in the mining and manufacturing field.Â
Responsibilities
ÂDesign complete build packages for projects using Solid Edge software
ÂConfirms system and product capabilities
ÂInteracts with marketing team to organize and schedule production of Cogar machines
ÂContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
ÂCreates hydraulic schematics and layouts
ÂConsults with vendors on machine components
ÂCreates service manuals for designed equipment
ÂProvides engineering information by answering questions and requests
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
Â2-year drafting/design degree
ÂExperience with equipment manufacturing (crushing/conveying equipment a plus)
ÂBasic knowledge of hydraulic systems and schematics
ÂBasic knowledge of electrical systems and schematics
ÂExperience with design software (solid edge, AutoCAD)
ÂKnowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
ÂAbility to work individually and in a team environment
ÂTimely and organizational oriented
Preferred qualifications
Â4-year engineering degree (Mechanical Engineer preferred)
