POSITION SUMMARY
ISEP, a 40-employee organization located in downtown Arlington is seeking a Senior Manager of Information Technology. This position will report to the President & CEO of ISEP. This position will manage 2 direct reports and a small team of developers (consultants). This is a hands-on Senior Manager role requiring a strong systems administration background coupled with leadership experience. 75% of your time will be spent in a management/leadership and project management capacity. While 25% will be spent doing hands-on systems administration.

External: IT Consultants and Vendors
Internal: Staff, Mid-Level Managers, Executive Team
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide regular updates to the President & CEO on technology initiatives
- Assist with numerous in-process initiatives including:
- Project Management – Enrollment Management System phase II development work
- Project Management – Algorithm project
- Project Management – Association Management System
- Hands-On – Disaster Recovery
- Hands-On - Tier 3 Support
- Hands-On – Systems Administration
- Manage vendor relationships
- Review vendor contracts
- Ensuring servers are patched regularly
- Supporting Active Directory, Office 365 and Azure
- Supporting on-premise VMware infrastructure
- Managing IT budget
- Procuring equipment
- Support managed VoIP service
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of IT leadership
- 8-10 years of systems administration
- Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Project Management experience
- Ensure uptime and systems availability
- VMware experience
- Office 365 experience
- SQL Experience
- CompTia or better certification(s)
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Any one of the following: PMP, MCSA, MCSE or B.S. in Information Systems Management
- Experience in the non-profit or higher education sector
- .NET experience
- Mid-level SQL experience (able to create queries)
