This position is for a Repair Station Logistics Specialist who is under general supervision. Coordinates movement of materials from the receiving dock to the Repair Station, and notifies business of incoming shipments . Initiates sales orders and work orders in ERP system. Coordinates with Contracts professionals and Government representatives on status of customer owned assets. Provides support for misdirected shipments and processes associated returns.

Primary Responsibilities:

Works under general supervision to provide assistance with managing incoming inventory and movement of materials.

Prepares necessary shipping documentation.

Checks arriving materials to ensure alignment with purchase orders, submitting discrepancy reports as necessary.

Coordinates movement of customer owned materials, products or machinery.

Provides support to Customer Service team in response to fairly complex customer inquiries and complaints regarding storage and distribution services.

Reviews contracts to identify appropriate handling and processing of customer owned assets.

Maintains data from contracts, purchase orders, requisitions and other documents to assess supply needs.

Plans, schedules and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving, or storage locations, to repair station.

Perform scanning of return paperwork, accept/acknowledge Purchase Orders from customer portals, process customer unique forms, order supplies as required. Maintains knowledge of Collins organization and products to provide the appropriate information and support to internal stakeholders.

Provides accurate and timely data entry from part receipt to Sales Order and Work Order creation.

Qualifications

Ability to use excel and Microsoft Office applications

Ability to multitask and retain complex information

Interpersonal savvy

Excellent time management skills

Ability to understand technical procedures and Government requirements and regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires an HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.
