Job Description
Responsible for leading and collaborating with other engineering staff on multiple turbomachinery testing and design projects including prototypes of fuel pumps, advanced diffuser technology, air dynamometers. Work with and lead a team of experts in the turbomachinery field. Develop test plans and procedures, conduct testing and test data analysis.
Qualifications
Must have outstanding management skills in an R&D prototyping environment for compressors, turbines and pumps, leading mechanical engineering teams. Must have strong understanding of engineering principles in statics, dynamics, fluid flow, heat transfer and mechanical design. Excellent communication, project management, problem-solving and change management skills are required.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, and 10 years of experience in turbomachinery testing. Master’s is preferred.
