Job Description

We are a 70 year old family owned business seeking an individual who is an enthusiastic Planner to join the Inventory Management team. The candidate must have a passion for our products as well as a natural ability to approach work place projects logically and thoughtfully. The Planning Specialist supports the Lead Analyst and/or the Planning Supervisor. The Specialist is responsible for purchasing and managing inventory for multiple business channels to meet strategic goals and objectives.

  • Able to determine the best way to manage inventory utilizing Soft Vision and departmental planning parameters to develop buy plans, place orders, and evaluate inventory position?

  • A strong problem-solver with solid conceptual skills, along with the interpersonal skills necessary to work with various levels of management?

Qualifications

  • A high school education is required.
  • Inventory planning, purchasing, accounting or related experience is preferred.
  • Should have knowledge of spread sheeting, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence in public speaking and presenting to groups.
