DescriptionRobert Half Technology is looking for a Help Desk Analyst to support local and field users in a growing company. As a Help Desk Analyst, you will be a creative problem solver who enjoys working in a dynamic and rapidly-changing work environment. Because this Help Desk Analyst role is very visible within the company, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the department and organization. This Help Desk Analyst role is located in the Rutland, Vermont area and is a short-term temporary opportunity.Key responsibilities
Contribute IT support for productivity software, operating systems, and a variety of other applications used internally
Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues
Identify recurring technical issues and propose solutions to address the root of the problems
Provide solutions and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups
Requirements
Experience with IT support ticketing systems
Practical knowledge in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications
MS Windows 7 in an Active Directory environment experience preferred
MS Windows 10 experience preferred
Microsoft Windows 8 experience
Active Directory experience desired
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Basic networking concepts
