Bring your talent and energy to one of Vermonts most well respected companies and share in the success of our growing company. Otter Creek Awnings, Vermonts leading awning company, is hiring an experienced sales and design consultant to work with our residential and commercial customers.
This position will be a part of our team in Williston, VT and collaborate closely with our supplier in Middlebury, VT. The successful candidate will work independently within a given territory by providing design advice for our various product offerings while traveling throughout beautiful areas of Vermont and New Hampshire.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide solutions face-to-face to residential and commercial customers within a given territory
Follow-up on leads provided in a timely-professional manner
Ability to self-generate leads
Ability to follow processes and procedures to completion
Participation in a comprehensive training program
Help improve brand awareness and social media presence in cooperation with the marketing department
Ability to work longer hours during peak seasons (including weekends and home shows)
Foster and maintain positive client relationships based on the Otter Creek Awnings standards
Qualifications and Skills:
3+ years in sales
Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
Ability to use a tape measure, to the eighth of an inch
Comfortable climbing a ladder
Self-motivated
Basic computer skills
Previous customer service, construction or design experience is required
Have a positive, fun and professional attitude
