Tri-Angle Metal Fab is seeking a Process/Production Planner. Tri-Angle is a leading manufacturer in Milton, VT that manufactures a variety of precision components for Aerospace, Defense and Commercial industries. An ideal candidate for this position would have had previous experience in a manufacturing facility as a Production Planner, Quality Administrator or Shop Forman/Production manager. This job is Full Time for 40 hours weekly or more, some overtime may be required.Duties and Responsibilities:
Review the following requirements for all incoming Aerospace PO’s/Contracts. the following list is not all inclusiveCustomer quality requirements.
Associated customer and industry specifications.
Materials.
Subcontract i.e. heat-treat, NDT, plating, painting, ext.
Shipping schedule.
General Risk Assessment.
Read and correctly interpret customer drawings.
Acquiring quotations for materials and subcontract.
Write Shop Traveler with complete Job Routing based on contract review.
Customer/Vendor correspondence
Use of Excel, Spread Sheets and Microsoft Word Documents & updating of.
Understand and follow all Tri-Angle operational policies and procedures.Required Education/Experience & Jobs Skills:
Associates degree or High School diploma with 5 years minimum work experience as a Production Planner, Quality Administrator or in a Shop Foreman/Production manager’s position.
Strong ability to read, write and understand and perform basic mathematical functions.
Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite products, most importantly Outlook, Excel and Word
Comfortable with routine and detailed work that is deadline sensitive
Independent worker
Friendly & professional, contributing positively to office environment.
