Front Desk/Housekeeper (Part Time)

We are looking for a friendly, responsible and motivated individual to join our staff and work the front desk, serve breakfast and assist the innkeepers in guest services, in addition to helping us clean and prepare our guest rooms and perform general housekeeping.

The right person for this job will be cross-trained in housekeeping and working the Inns front desk. Staff is expected to perform their individual responsibilities, but in a team-focused environment. A regular weekly schedule is preferable.

Front Desk:

For front desk shifts: responsibilities would include, but are not limited to, taking reservations, checking in/out guests, credit card handling, responding to guest's requests, serving breakfast and performing concierge services. Requirements include basic computer knowledge, excellent communication and customer service skills, and scheduling flexibility that includes weekends. Prior hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.

Housekeeping:

For housekeeping shifts: all shifts are from 10:00AM to 3:00PM with a regular weekly schedule. The ideal person would be very detail-oriented and have a high standard for cleanliness, as well as a genuine passion for cleaning. Prior professional housekeeping experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person!

Please note we are a completely non-smoking facility and on the National Register of Historic Places.

We are looking for someone to work 20-25 hours a week between these two positions starting in mid-August.
