Our small, handmade energy bar company is looking for an almost full time (30-40 hrs) Artisan Bar Maker and Marketer. We are a group of friendly folks who love Vermont and the outdoors, and would love to find a like minded person to work and grow with us.
The right person for this job will be a dependable, self-motivated worker, with an insane attention to detail, great people skills, and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.
You'll be making bars, fulfilling orders, putting on product demos, doing a little sales work, and running our farmers market operation.
We want a lot of love to go into our bars and our customers' experience, so we need to stress how important attention to detail and and dedication to a job well done are to us.

Direct responsibilities include:
-Sampling energy bars to customers at co-ops, colleges, festivals, and farmers markets
-Driving to locations in Northern VT, and about once a month, locations about 3 hours away
-Educating customers on our bars and brand
-Communicating with marketing/event coordinators to set up events and promote the bars
-Setting up a professional looking table/booth/tent at events
-Being smiley and friendly, talking with (not to) customers
-Developing new sales relationships and nurturing existing ones
-Tracking sales and demo data
-Making/packaging/shipping/delivering energy bars and using kitchen equipment
-Occasional light cleaning of equipment
-Lifting up to 50 pounds
Schedule: Very flexible, but does require some afternoon and weekend work.
Average hours: 30 - 40 hours a week
Pay Rate: $15.00/hour, paid monthly
